History: Tang came from a private home. He was deserted by a couple going through a divorce and suffers emotional trauma. He was terrified of women.
Today, Tang seems to be working through his issues. While he still becomes frightened when people speak in loud voices around him, he is slowly coming out of his shell and getting used to interacting with humans and with his roommate, Hope. After losing Hope, who he dearly loved, Tang fell into deep depression which we worked desperately to combat. We went to several vets, heart and kidney specialists and despite our all of our efforts, Tang left us in 2011, just a few months after Hope… It appeared to all of us he just didn’t want to live without his Hope. The last vet we went to, two days before Tang left us, said, “You must understand, as great a loss as Hope has been for all you, it was even worse for him and he has chosen not to live with out her. He simply wants to be with her…” We will hold him in our hearts forever…
